About Aras
Aras Innovator® is an open source, subscription-based enterprise PLM (*) platform. You can download it from the Aras website and start using it right away.
Aras Innovator can build a "digital thread" that connects all data throughout the product lifecycle, from product planning and design to manufacturing and after-sales service, without replacing your existing systems. This allows past design data and post-delivery customer feedback to be used in new product development, and service departments can use design and manufacturing information to properly perform preventive maintenance. Various product data in the manufacturing industry is a valuable asset for the company. Build a digital thread with Aras to make the most of that data and drive product and business innovation in this era of major changes in manufacturing.

Issues to be addressed:
Do you have any of the following challenges?
-
Want to develop a product that meets requirements according to the V model, but it is difficult to track from requirements to design and testing.
-
Each department uses multiple different CAD systems and they are not integrated, making it difficult to coordinate during product development.
-
The design BOM and manufacturing BOM are not linked, making it difficult to synchronize them when changes occur.
-
When a defect occurs in a product that has already been shipped, it is difficult to grasp the scope of the impact, and making design changes takes time.
-
Simulation data is only used by the relevant department, and is not effectively utilized in terms of reuse or integration with design.
-
The design, manufacturing, and service departments each have their own separate systems, making it difficult to share product data.
-
Want to apply firmware and software updates correctly to the target products, etc.
These issues arise because the systems that manage the business processes and data related to products are fragmented. Connecting data and building a "digital thread" is a major first step in resolving these issues.

Aras Architecture

Open
Aras' unique open architecture connects design authoring tools to enterprise systems, supporting cross-department collaboration and digital transformation across the product lifecycle across the entire enterprise without having to abandon existing systems.

Flexibility
Aras' low-code platform reduces the amount of code you need to write in system development. It allows you to model easy-to-use UIs, business processes, and create relationships between data. It shortens system construction time and reduces project risk.

Scalability
The Aras architecture scales out the file system and web servers, and scales up the database by moving non-transactional data to scale-out servers.

Upgrade
As a subscription service, Aras upgrades are guaranteed and implemented by Aras, and no customizations are lost, ensuring your company is always up to date with the latest technology and the way it works.
